Reference

Reference is a human-written response that is only used for training context. It is not returned in any form by the model’s output.

Rules

• The column header is required.
• Cell values can be blank.
• Maximum length is 300 characters.
• Reference can include any characters. If you include commas or quotes, use standard CSV escaping.
• A minimum of 10 total Reference rows are required.
• Reference cell max length: 300 characters.

The Reference provides longer-form context that does NOT appear in final model responses. It is used to help the model understand the context of the input, and synthesize similar input questions / instructions.

While a minimum of 10 total Reference rows are required, the more references are included, the better the model will be at understanding similar inputs.
